The short answer to that is... it depends on the prevailing conditions! It is very hard to read lips and facial expressions when you are wearing face or surgical mask. So, if you need to more effectively communicate with others, a facial shield may prove to be an indispensable addition. Mind you, it is not necessarily a replacement in its entirety and it is subject to health advice. The addition of a full facial shield, worn in conjunction with a mask will certainly add another layer of protection, as and when, you may require to lower your face mask to improve your communications, for the impaired or elderly for example.
We recommend Bastion as our facial shield provider, because they are an Australasian company committed to providing the ultimate solutions in barrier protection throughout Australia and New Zealand. Bastion has undeniable product quality, innovation and are dedicated to customer service.
